Privacy Policy – Offline Photo Text Copy

Last updated: 07/15/2026

This app (“Offline Photo Text Copy”) does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Camera access: The app uses your device’s camera to capture photos for the sole purpose of on-device text recognition (OCR). Photos are processed entirely locally on your device and are never saved, uploaded, or transmitted to any server.

Recognized text: Text extracted from photos is copied to your device’s clipboard for you to use as you wish. This text is not stored by the app and is not transmitted anywhere.

On-device text recognition: All photo processing and text recognition happens locally on your device. Photos and recognized text are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted by this app.

Third-party SDK data: This app uses Google’s ML Kit library for text recognition. While your photos and recognized text never leave your device, the ML Kit library itself may send anonymous technical usage data to Google (such as device model, app version, and error codes) for diagnostic purposes, as described in Google’s ML Kit Terms of Service. No images, photos, or recognized text are included in this data.

No third-party sharing: We do not share any data with third parties, as we do not collect any data.

Changes to this policy: If this policy changes in the future (e.g. due to new features), this page will be updated accordingly.
